Battery Interrupters

The LinkSwitch is an interface device that enables individuals to activate battery-operated assistive devices using Adaptivation's Taction Pads or any other conventional adaptive switch. Simply plug a Taction Pad, Pal Pad or any other switch into the LinkSwitch. Then touch the switch to activate adapted toys, keyboard interfaces, tape recorders, Battery Interrupters, sensory stimulus devices or virtually any battery-operated device. All LinkSwitches come with dual-channel modes and can add latching and timing capabilities to battery-operated devices.

Switch Scanner

The Switch Scanner has the ability to access up to six objects such as battery-operated toys or up to six messages from voice output communication aids (VOCAs). Each channel can be programmed to control an external device in one of four modes: direct, latch, time and alarm. Scanning modes include: positive, inverse, sequencing and auto sequencing. Scan speed can be varied to match the user's needs. Up to four external LEDs or miniature Vibrating Motors can be used to make scanning more concrete.

The FreeSwitch Max allows nearly any appliance such as lamps, fans and even popcorn makers to be activated with wireless convenience when used in conjunction with an X-10 transceiver module (included). The FreeSwitch Max activates AC appliances through direct selection via the keypad, external switches or scanning, either visual and/or auditory. Up to eight appliances can be chosen with the visual/auditory scanning feature of the FreeSwitch Max. R.A.T.

The R.A.T. (Rodent Activated by Touch) is a mouse emulator for either Macintosh or PC Compatible (Microsoft mouse) computers. Just plug the R.A.T. into the mouse port and begin using it. You can use the built-in keypad or plug in external switches to control each mouse function (up, down, left, right and click). The mouse "click" button can be set to click-and-hold, making drag operations easier. An LED and a beeper provide visual and auditory feedback when activating and releasing the click-and-hold feature. The Tek Pal Universal TV Remote is designed to be the easiest to see and easiest to use universal remote control (tv only) on the market. It can control the following functions: ON/OFF, MUTE, VOL +, VOL-, CH+ and CH-. The Tek Pal Universal TV Remote Switch Input version has four switch inputs (ON/OFF, VOL+, VOL- and CH+). Almost any standard switch (1/8" plug) can be used (not compatible with Taction Pads).
