Taction Pads™
Taction Pads are clear, adhesive-backed, touch-sensitive plastic patches. When adhered to a surface or object, they act as switches. Simply peel the backing off and stick it on almost any object or surface. When the Taction Pad is plugged into one of Adaptivation's assistive devices, the Taction Pad activates the device by touch (moisture) or by the use of Conductive Foam (sold separately). Taction Pads were designed to operate specifically with Adaptivation's devices, and will not work with other assistive devices or adapted toys unless accompanied by the LinkSwitch.

Conductive Foam
Adaptivation's Conductive Foam takes the place of skin when the individual cannot directly touch a Taction Pad. Conductive Foam is adhesive-backed and can be cut to shape and applied to any item you choose. Conductive Foam is sold by the unit in 2" x 2" patches.

Reusable Adhesive
Adaptivation's Reusable Adhesive is great for nonskid switch placement and renewing adhesive on Taction Pads or other adhesive-backed switches. When Resuable Adhesive gets dirty, simply rinse it in water, and it is ready to work once again. Sold by the unit in 4" x 6" patches.

This tilt-sensitive switch can be attached to the head, arm, finger or any appropriate object and can be used for posture training. The Dipsy is activated by a 30-degree tilt (head, finger, etc.) which makes it less prone to false activation. It can also be adjusted for sensitivity by increasing or decreasing the switch's mounting angle. The Dipsy can be plugged into any communication aid, environmental control or battery-adapted device that has a standard 1/8-inch jack. The Dipsy includes a headband and two finger mounts (the finger mounts can also be used to secure the cord to the headband).

The Bright Box and Bright Box Tactile both have large-display visual cues that are activated when the user presses the top surface of the switch. The visual cue is a
1 3/4" area of the switch that glows a bright bluish, green color. The Bright Box and Bright Box Tactile are used to activate communication devices, mouse interfaces or switch-adapted toys with standard 1/8" jacks.
The Bright Box can be used as a visual cue to aid in locating the device for persons with low vision or for any night time user. It can also be used as a way to visually attract the attention of the switch user. The Light Switch has three functions: Off, On and Continuous. The Power Switch has three functions: Lo, Hi and Flash. Includes one 9-volt battery.
